What does it mean when a 30-minute session turns into a 1-hour session? That question can only be answered by first answering another question. How does a photographer feel when a client asks if they can get some pictures in the water at the end of their session? For me, it feels like I'm an addict that was just offered free crack. I apologize if that is not politically correct, but that is exactly how I felt when Seth & Kaitlynn asked. I thought seriously?! They are just offering to get into the water?!

I met the couple for their session on Sunday evening, where we decided to first take some pictures in the field before heading down closer to the water. They spent the session cozying up to eachother - which is a true testament to their love, especially in this humidity. As we worked our way closer to the lake, we chased the sun from spot to spot as it peaked between the trees and reflected beautifully off of the water. We ended the session after capturing the couple's requested portraits in the water, and holy-crap. Between running through it, dancing in it, and Kaitlynn eventually pushing Seth in, it's impossible to pick a favorite. So, what does it mean when a 30-minute session turns into a 1-hour session? It means that this is my new Roman Empire, and I will be obsessing over this session for the foreseeable future.
